When you follow the logic of identity politics and marginalized groups, you realize exactly why the person you listened to would be gleeful about conservatives getting their comeuppance, while being vociferously opposed to any comeuppance the other way should the President change to a different ideology.... and that person would be convinced he or she was thinking completely rationally about it. It would make perfect sense to him or her. They've got a built in consistency, starting, of course, with a monumentally absurd premise, they proceed completely logically to a completely fucked up conclusion.
