Cowboys and Aliens. Could've used a better script. Still enjoyable, however.

Source Code, by David Bowie's son. Interdasting.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

The Hound is awesome. It's just that you said he's still alive. I mean, why wouldn't he still be alive? Are you implying he died? I haven't seen the current season so I don't know

He is alive and he's working in a grocery story now. He's much happier now.

Set in a generic, Irish town, which seems to comprise of locations as near as my own home town and others as far flung as the opposite coast, Calvary is the story of a priest (Brendan Gleeson) who receives a death threat at confession from a man whom was sexually abused as a child with the logic that killing a good priest, one who is innocent, will make more of a statement than killing a bad one.

Throughout his final week he tries to make his peace with God and his parishoners, a motley crew of Irish comedic talent (and it is a comedy despite it's rather bleak setting) all of whom have lost faith, are losing faith, or have a woeful misunderstanding of faith; each one seemingly a reflection of a deeply cynical, contempory Irish society in general. Including his fellow priest, a rather foolish man indicitive of a flailiing Irish priesthood who'll just let anyone in nowadays.

If you've seen The Guard you'll sort of know what to expect. Various philosophical musings, obscure references and classic one-liners. I personally prefer this to The Guard as it's a more tight and consistent film.

If you were ever interested in the creative processes that go into making a film, then Jodorowsky's Dune is the movie for you.
The film details how visionary director, Alejandro Jodorowsky, amassed the talents of Moebius, Chris Foss, H. R. Giger, Salvador Dali, Orson Welles, Pink Floyd, Dan O'Bannon and even Mick Jagger (fuck you, Sting) to create his seminal work, Dune. A movie, considered by many to be the greatest science-fiction movie ever, which would go on to influence the likes of Star Wars, Aliens, Prometheus, Indiana Jones, Terminator and even Flash Gordon, and more, despite never actually been made.

We all would. He refused to cut any of the film so the producers wouldn't fund him. He created this massive tome which consisted of the film's story board, art concepts and advise on how to the create special effects needed, and it was reckoned it could be up to 14 hours long.

I think HBO should buy it and make it a series.

This could've been Baron Harkonnen's castle.

Entrace leading up to the gates.

Fat Orson Welles was supposed to be the Baron.

Fat Orson Welles :hehe:

So was the film actually made? Or did it never get past the preliminary stages? And did you watch this film at the theater or online? If you watched it online, then I really need to figure out how to fucking do that.

According to a 'friend' of mine you need to go to this site.
http://www.icefilms.info/ip.php?v=187478&

You need to download Google Chrome and then go here...
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... mcem?hl=en

..and download and install the app. It's also advised you install this.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... fddb?hl=en

When you've done that select one of the links in the IceFilms site and proceed to download. You can start watching the film straight away as it downloads.
