You entirely miss my point. I couldn't give a fuck what Tucker, Crowder etc. say or don't say. I have zero intention of listening to them. All I will comment on is clear issues, such as "should people confront each other in the street about mask wearing (for or against)?" I don't need to chase up opinions from others to present a reasoned argument.
I think people should not confront people in the street about global warming either.

I don't need to chase up opinions from others to present a reasoned argument.

Streets are property, and blocking them is taking that property by force.
There is a huge difference between peaceful, non-violent demonstrations (typically denouncing government policies, not specific people), and confronting individuals in public and remonstrating with them for some perceived issue. I'm not going to harangue someone in the street about how they should respond to environmental issues...
Blocking public streets is plenty 'confronting'.

Maybe it has to do with people fearing mobs, or maybe it's a fear of being trapped, but blocking roads is a pretty awful kind of confronting.

I wouldn't try to stop YOU from going about your daily business, because I think it would be anti-social. Don't know how others justify it, except that mob 'might makes right' stuff.
Taken to its logical conclusion, that argument leaves no place for public demonstrations and marches, which, if large enough, necessarily have to block the streets they are marching through, if only for a relatively short space of time.

What a great gift for governments the world over... :tea:

The deliberate blocking of intersections for an hour or more (or until police clear them) is another matter. It is a tactic used by XR in climate change demonstrations; I have mixed feelings about it. It generates lots of publicity, but it also is seen to deliberately disrupt the lives of the general public, which generates a lot of negative feelings.
Public demonstrations and marches can respect traffic, people needing to get to work, and even clean up after themselves.

A byproduct is sometimes traffic interference, but can be planned for. When the purpose is to block traffic, that isn't very mixed.

It is a small group taking something that doesn't belong to them, for their own goals.

And seabass, I know you are but what am I?

Oh look, how will you respond...? By noting that a good demonstration or march can indeed clean up?

Or point out the small mess made one day in January, by the 'right', while remaining silent about the billions of insurance claims from the riots, including attacks of federal buildings?

I know what I guess.

Ohh zing.

Yeah, they sure made a mess that one day.

Glad you pointed it out, as a way to highlight what the thread is about. I'll go look for your similar contributions in the thread of democrats.

Just so you know, Cunt, you would have opposed the black civil rights movement of the '60s. You'd have sided with the 75% of white Americans who opposed MLK. You're using the same excuses. What a great "lefty" you are.
You have a vivid imagination, and show all the respect you are able to muster.

What a great representative for your opinions you are making.

Indeed. But the point is that while the alt-Right say, and probably feel like they're on the side of the little guy against the powerful elite views like this demonstrate the inherent incoherent dissonance of their position. I doubt our friend from the frozen North can see it though.

What is the point of arguing like this? It's some kind of bizarre debate via proxy where various activist groups are meant to represent us.

It's a silly and persistent distortion.
