That Feck was NK'd for being town. I don't really get why there's so much attention on a dead town player, instead of trying to find scum.

We should be looking at the Day 1 quiet ones IMO. Azathoth gave his explanation for not posting which I'll accept for now, although today's mayor vote from DP, who also pinged, has me scratching my chin. Adenosine with 2 posts and Higgs2 also stood out for not standing out.

Higgs2's posted a bit today, handing out FOSs like boiled sweets, but it doesn't ring townish to me. Adenosine is so far nowhere to be seen.

This also bothers me. Just like the UT thing. It all just screams of two town bw's and scum playing games. TBH I'm not sure which one bugs me more now that I've read this post again.

MSG, "doesn't ring townish" is p. lame. It's what people say when they really don't have any factual evidence or tells to go on. Are you playing ping mafia?

I don’t yet have charlou or MSG sorted. Both of them make sense to me on this with their disparate views. I'm reluctant to make this long post, but here it is.

I agree that it's always helpful when townish seeming folk can work together a bit more on who we think is scum and lynch them, as long as we're right, which in ksen's and Feck's case we generally weren't. And except for that odd gib/r.c claim of irre, I think the irre BW is oversold too to this point, IMO.

Regarding whatever the OP revealed about Night 1 action, it wasn't so much about Aden personally for me, but a curiosity of the OP reveal that has Night 1 results looking very townish to me. char’s theory of a scum kill is interesting though, and something I hadn't thought of, as is MSG’s simplicity, which I’m liking better.

Still, I suppose if the kill of Feck and incapacitation of Aden is of town, it could reflect the somewhat normal actions of a doc protect of a scum target (with no scum kill), a vig kill of what many thought was a scumish looking townie (Feck), and some other action of maybe an indie who incapacitated Aden (call it a "Thief", "Hypnotizer", "Waylayer", "Jailkeeper", or "non-lethal day vig").

I wasn’t initially inclined to think Feck was scum killed. Seems to me scum had every incentive to keep Feck in the game, with several more notable targets to choose from. Aden seems an odd choice too, for whoever incapacitated him. But for those who followed the last Ratz game, particularly the roleblocking choices seemed very odd then too, and scum wound up winning, in part using the oddness of those choices. That’s why this discussion seems important to me, with caution on the WIFOM of it.

It's possible Feck was swapped, but I very much think not, not in a game our GM has said is "minimalistic" of specials. I guess the simplest explanation would be that Feck was indeed killed by scum, for whatever reason.

We may know more after Night 2, but maybe unlike MSG I wouldn't want it to completely escape our consideration, even if too much talk of it seems jeopardizing of specials. Frankly on the scum hunt, I'm just trying to get a better grasp on the shape of the game - are there 2 scum or 4, and who are they. If we can manage knock off a couple of them maybe the point becomes moot.

Higgs2: no idea what ping mafia is but if you are asking whether I don't have much to go on then what I have to go on is 1.5 days of wifom and 2 dead townies. Which by definition isn't much.

You seem a bit fixated on useless twit. His final post about ksen yesterday didn't seem inconsistent with his earlier posts, reading back. So what are you seeing that I'm not?

I voted half hour before end of day. It was either irre or ksen. If I had voted for anyone else it wouldn't have made a difference. I ideally would have voted for MSG on the first day itself. But between irre and ksen, ksen looked more scummy to me.

I don't think it's fixated, I'm just pointing out that the last minute switches off of two bw's could be scummy. And I'm more inclined now to think they were two town bw's.

Feck would have been an unlikely scum kill as I've said. But, could be they were special hunting like irre suggeste, that seems most likely to me. Could be he was killed by avig/sk and there was a doc/roleblocker action prevening a scum kill. Partly depends on how many factions in the game, and how many specials there are. I've been assuming there is scum and town, but I don't know the flavor at all. I don't think the silencing would be a day action though, if that's what gib was implying, or it wouldn't have been in the OP obviously.

As for the silencing being a cover for the don, I haven't seen this as a scum role in any other games I've played. Are there scum silencers? I've seen indie and town silencers.

Sorry to repeat some of what you said already grit, just trying to get it all down.

Any more thoughts on dp?

What do you mean "convenient argument"?

Yes I believe I read them and suggested that the switch would give town creds especially if irre was lynched today and implied that UT might try to distance himself from that lynch if it occurred. So are you pretty strongly in favor of UT being town? You are beginning to seem like the one who has strong opinions about UT's alignment. Do you?
