Who knew? Vivek or another will save Trump. For eight years!
CNN
“I think that Vivek is, in a roundabout way, even better for Trump than Trump being in there,” Sherman said. “Vivek will pardon him, and he has eight years ahead of him, instead of just four.”

Trump suggests it’s not fair to talk about the record job growth and falling inflation under President Biden because the economy isn’t “real”
(He also likes to say we are just running on the fumes of the Trump economy)

Whatever. You can’t credit Biden because he’s the president, and they don’t —can’t?— run the economy.
When Trump wins and the economy is doing great, you’ll have to forget this again, or say he’s running on Biden’s fumes…

Trump disqualified? Continuing.
Supremacy clause will come in somehow. If the Supreme Court says Trump loses, he is out. If Trump wins, it will be on some technicality, which does not resolve the issue. If the SC claims there is not enough to decide on and there has to be a federal law on the matter (the Amendment is not self contained as solution) then the SC will get it back.
Not an easy job. Sort of like guns. They can't even decide for guns. If they said guns are allowed in all places at all times and all gun "owners," that would even allow 8th graders to have them. "I gave it to my kid. It's his."

And yet, rural people vote Trump 90+ %.
https://news.yahoo.com/trump-touts-reco ... 00377.htmlBy other measures, Biden has been better for farmers than Trump: Net farm income has actually gone up since the Democrat entered the White House. On average, net farm income has totaled $165 billion between 2021 and 2023, compared to $94 billion between 2017 and 2019. Farm income reached a record high of nearly $189 billion in 2022. And while it is projected to drop off in 2023 (USDA is still tallying receipts from December 2023), it remains above the 20-year average for receipts.

I'm all set then. We have a chicken processing plant right in our county! Costco chickens.
The guy in the video says this country needs a dictator. "I hate to say it, but..." is how he puts it.

JoJo
And 56,000 Iowans went out in the frigid cold last night to put his name into a popcorn bucket.
To return him to the office he tried to steal.
Not because of any policies they can think of or point to.
Not because of his integrity, honesty, reliability, authenticity, virtue, decency, or honor.
And not because of his legislative record.
Because he hates who they hate.
And that’s all they think they need.

Iowans now ready to punish "foreigners" by putting them in concentration camps. 2016 they still were somewhat normal.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/202 ... l-politicsIowa Republicans showed up on 15 January in force for Donald Trump, voting overwhelmingly in the nation’s first primary for the former president.
Even young Republican voters favored Trump slightly more strongly this year than in the 2016 Iowa caucuses: CNN entrance polls showed a modest 3% jump in caucus-goers under 30 who support Trump, while his share of supporters over the age of 30 nearly doubled across the board.
Since 2016, Trump has consolidated support among evangelical Christian voters, a key block in Iowa. Just over 20% of Trump’s Iowa supporters in 2016 self-reported as evangelicals or born-again Christians; evangelicals made up 53% of his supporters in 2024 Iowa polling.
Support for Trump among evangelical Christians can be chalked up to “transactional politics” said Anne Nelson, author of Shadow Network: Media, Money, and the Secret Hub of the Radical Right.

Trump, not a witness, yelling to jury while witness replays his rape and death threats by MAGA
CNN:
After the jury left the courtroom for a mid-morning break, one of Carroll’s attorneys, Shawn Crowley, told the judge Trump could be heard “loudly saying things” about Carroll’s testimony, like “it’s false” and “she’s gotten her memory back." Crowley said since it's loud enough for her to hear at the table two rows in front of Trump, she said it’s possible the jury could hear it, too.
