In due course meaning, 'several generations' to start with, and that's not taking into account such hatred maintenance tools as the orangist orders or any catholic counterparts which may prevent forgiving and forgetting for far longer than nature would have it.

Most of that is true, but not all of it. Conciliation if not much reconciliation has taken place. People who have been there recently tell me it has transformed compared to what it was like twenty years ago.
