What a surprise - if you look in a system that isn't fair, you find unfairness.

If mens wages were fair, you could make everyones wages match them, and have fairness. That isn't the case, though.

The best negotiators will generally get the highest pay.
The tallest people will generally get the highest pay.
The female people will generally get the highest pay.
The male people will generally get the highest pay.

I'm positive I can find stats to back up all these inequities, and more. How do we decide which of these groups deserve 'fair pay', and what that amount should be? Wages set by government? By whichever workers have the resources to take legal action on their own behalf? Whichever group has the best lobby group?

If you want a group paid fairly, I think all you can do is hire a group, and pay them fairly. I just don't see a practical approach, in a competitive world.
