Re: Boy Band Mafia Day 2
1. I don't flip flop my vote much. Check my previous games.
2. On day 1 the vote is not based on a whole lot (people who contend otherwise are BSing)
3. He voted me in return...scummy

Re: Boy Band Mafia Day 2
I ask people questions so they will post and give us more data for figuring out if they sound pro-town or not. Without posts, there is no wasy to judge a player. Without posts, town sometimes has to lynch a player simply to remove uncertainty. In a small game like this one, that kind of uncertainty-elimination could cost town the game.DennyB wrote:I can’t exactly put my finger on what it is about Twinkie. Just rubs me the wrong way.
As far as Mantis and Ani, It is how they have replied.
Ani seems like town to me.
And good point, Feral is not exempt at this point.
OB, Why are you so concerned about my thoughts? Trying to avert suspicion?
ponderious.
Now, back to work..
Any one have a blow up diagram for the primary compensating sprocket assembly for a 15 y/o FLHR?
If you are town and you want town to win, you need to post. And you need to post cogently and on topic.
Re: Boy Band Mafia Day 2
1. I have watched some of your previous games. You often change your vote in the first 30 or so posts of day 1. You usually put a lynch vote down on the first person to make a lynch vote. You didn't do that this game. You're also a fairly quiet player who doesn't do the buddy-buddy "someone's gonna think you're scum" thing when you are town. You've done that repeatedly to Ani. It's no wonder he's picked up that your not playing your town game.Twinkie wrote:1. I don't flip flop my vote much. Check my previous games.

2. Day 1 is awesome. I wish every day was like day 1. It's not based on anything but what players give away about themselves. If budski hadn't tripped the wire so early yesterday, I would have been all over you.
3. n00by and possibly scummy. You're an experienced player and you know that.

Re: Boy Band Mafia Day 2
The reason I said anything to ani is that I wanted to avoid him being a lynch magnet due to his scattergun style. I'm not buying the first votes fluff thing thus attract a lynch vote, hence my chane of tack. I intended to move my vote off feral but he reacted scummily. Possibly noobily but who can know.
I'm the doc and I protected oblivion last night. That she wasn't even targeted is suspicious, no matter her justification.
Oblivion decided not to kill me but get me lynched on the basis I survived the night. Familiar rationale, no?

Ooh. Stinger.
Libertarianism: The belief that out of all the terrible things governments can do, helping people is the absolute worst.

In an 11 player game, there is a reasonable chance there will be a doc. It would be a high risk scum tactic to claim.

And you think the seer wouldn't out if I viewed as scum?Twinkie wrote:The reason I said anything to ani is that I wanted to avoid him being a lynch magnet due to his scattergun style. I'm probably dead tonight, then, since scum can safely assume I'll be unprotected. If I'm alive tomorrow I'll be the logical lynch, though that'll be unfortunate for town.
Ani, what do you make of this?
Who is your next pick then?
Re: Boy Band Mafia Day 2
I don't know. I'm bummed out now. Everyone I suspected is either dead or outed

Re: Boy Band Mafia Day 2
1 Charlou - basically a no-show
2 Oblivion - protected last night, maybe viewed
4 Mantisdreamz - end of day vote waffle
5 Denny - first game?
6 feral p - 3 games?
7 twinkie - claims doc
8 Ani - has been consistently on twinkie
10 MZ - vote switch saved twinkie (which looks less scummy given the role claim)

Re: Boy Band Mafia Day 2
Tell me something about Mantis' gameplay. She hasn't been very assertive in terms of getting questions answered. She's sat back and processed the info that others have shaken out of the trees. Is this her usual game?Animavore wrote:I don't know. I'm bummed out now. Everyone I suspected is either dead or outed
I'm going to go back and look at Feral's previous games here to see if there's a change in style or not.
I have no idea how to deal with Charlou, and not much idea of DennyB. He's a little defensive and bites back at questions, which is about what I'd expect.
Re: Boy Band Mafia Day 2
Ooh. I don't know. I was just about to go to bed when this happened. Dammit.
If only I had a nine-sided die.
Charlou's on Australian time.
Manits plays oddly all the time regardless.

Re: Boy Band Mafia Day 2
Twinkie should protect either herself or whoever she thinks is the seer tonight, I guess. Keep scum guessing one more night.
Twinkie are you thinking we're dealing with an SK rather than a vig? The thought crossed my mind. I'm curious what your logic about no kill attempt on me is about. Most of the mafia games I've played, none of the killers attempt the mayor on night 1. Leaving the mayor alone is becoming more and more of a tactic because of the suspicion it raises. It would be odd for the vig to try and kill the mayor. Not so odd for an SK, but still a big risk of losing a kill.

Zigmen, how do you plan to handle players who can't participate during the game day?
