I hate him because he's a fascist, manipulative hate-monger. He is pious and hypocritical. He wants to rule the Republican party, and even they are shocked at the idea. He would have been Mussolini in a previous life. He's never going to be a Hitler, he can only hope for second place.

He is the de facto chairman of the Republican Party. Conservatives seem to love angry talk radio, nevermind that the opinions Rush gives on his show are debated with him by nobody and are backed up by "facts" which he often exaggerates or makes up on the spot.
