You guys?Exi5tentialist wrote:Has anyone found any dirt on Sadiq Khan yet? I mean, you've only had five hours since I asked.
What makes people think he's dirty? Is it because he's a bit more brown than the previous mayor? He is a muslim after all, and you guys don't seem to like such people for some reason.

Ewww. I wouldn't vote for that. I want to vote for clean toilet paper, as soft as a swan's neck.

Re: The Dirt on Sadiq Khan
His nonchalant mannerisms are more concerning than the colour of his skin. There's evidence that some folks in his circles, on his side of the political spectrum, consider him a opportunist in that link above. He does come across as a chancer who got himself a big break. That bodes ill for the promises he has made regarding housing. You need to recall societal collapse is a by product of acute over-population - and it'll all be too late when the next the housing bubble bursts and them there third world slums break out in the capital. Might be what the regressive left want? and the blind sheepal of the left go bah! But could be why their handlers are talking Khan up rather than putting him under a microscope like he deserves? I consider Corbyn a potential progressive - he appears to have seen through the illusion and cliches whatever his past in politics.

Still blaming all the worlds ills on those without any real power or influence I see. You could say exactly the same about Cameron as you've said about Khan and it'd still ring true, like any good horoscope.

Re: The Dirt on Sadiq Khan
Whilst Khan was elected to represent 13million people living on a postage stamp size patch of earth his actual mandate comes from only 1.3million of those 13million. Whether it is apathy or a realisation that politics isn't gonna change anything anymore most Londoners did not vote. He lacks a popular mandate. So when times turn rough, whoever he is, the mayor is in trouble. Same with Cameron at a national level. He isn't a popular captain for when the plane hits turbulence...either. And it could all turn nasty very quickly, leading to the openings the far right have craved...

Islam is a race. Like atheism is a colour. Except for the token cases where it isn't.
