And besides, Iran is subject to the most rigorous of oversight as a condition for removing unilateral economic sanctions. Here, you are forgetting the implacable hatred between Shiite lead Iran and the dominant Sunni extremists of Al Qaeda and ISIS...

Mind you, the division itself is a good thing for the West...
