I'm a bit confused about what's being patented here.
A patent is supposed to apply to an invention. ie, a non obvious idea that has never ever been advanced before.
Once you have the ability to control electronics or pick up bio information through skin sensors, it's perfectly obvious that you can do that on different parts of the body. It's not an invention to say, ''lets do that with a wig''. It's stating the bleeding obvious. And you can't patent the obvious. That's a fundamental principle of patents.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Technically, it's not a patent, it's an excuse to sue anybody with a similar idea and useSony's weight to crush them under law costs.
