Sydney Olympics. I was in the fucking city, you know what changed? Nothing. I saw more foreigners than normal, then went home and had dinner.

I care about it too much, but I know some people really do so I thought I'd pass along the info in case any of them were here. If it was happening in my neck of the woods I'd probably try and get some gymnastics tickets

My sport, target shooting, makes for very dull television or even watching it live is like watching paint dry. I really admire all athletes that put their health and body on the line to squeeze out that last 0,01 second of their time or lift that 5 pounds more than the last time, but I don't enjoy watching it.
So, it's not for me either, but I do understand people that do enjoy the Olympics.
