I'm not sure of you point? I've been speaking for equalising status and regard, for everyone regardless of nominal group membership, and you seem to be fighting the battle of the sexes. What are you trying to say here?

I was addressing the point you made about one sex thinking it's superior to the other. I mentioned that it's not just a black and white issue. Women are generally portrayed as superior, an it's not even a social no-no to openly say that women are superior to men. I make that point because generally this issue is portrayed as oppressor (men) vs. oppressed (women) when that really is an oversimplification of the relationship between the sexes.

I also made the point earlier, which dovetails this, which relates to women as often being portrayed as not part of the "social construction" that created the "norms" that people are complaining about. It's as if they're just the hapless non-participants, and the only part of society that builds the social construction is the male part. Women, however, form just as much a part of how things are as men do, and are active participants.

I have never once suggested that no one talks about mens problems, ever. And, I have not redirected the discussion to "how hard it is to be a man." I have never asked "what about the menz." You have simply ignored what I actually say, as usual.

You appear to have no self awareness at all. You do it constantly (in a rhetorical fashion), the same as you do it constantly in discussions about Republicans and/or Trump (by redirecting to Democrats/Hillary). Why is it, do you think, that you always get mocked with the "what about them" reply so often? Surely you must sometimes stop to wonder why it is so many people mock you in this regard?

People keep on with this fallacy that the gender gap is imposed by one sex on another.

As I pointed out earlier, women have historically been almost as guilty as men in maintaining the gender gap.
And still are, in Muslim circles.

Going back to Victorian times, very few women would have been willing to go to a female doctor. And would have been outraged by a male nurse. And the idea of a woman police officer would have just been too funny for words to Victorian women. The whole of society shared the attitude, apart from a tiny minority.

It's the same today with the muslims. It's often the mothers who actively take part in the murders of their own daughters, if they "shame" the family by not marrying their chosen cousin back in Pakistan.
