Of course, but I don't get my monthly shill check until I work on the disinformation service for at least 10 hours a month. I would miss that $40K check each month if I had to stop trying make people believe the utter bullshit the Z.O.G.-controlled government puts out. :prof:

I have no problem celebrating the death of a scumbag like him and i have celebrated the deaths of other scumbags augusto pinochet comes to mind.

I fail to see where gloating comes into it.

The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

Name names. A lot of names, thank you.
Everyone who' scolding the US for doing what any country has done when an enemy is taken down after a long struggle. The French gathered 'round to watch the aristocrats loose their heads. The people cheered when the Winter Palace fell. The War Illustrated shows celebrations all over the world after Germany and Japan surrendered.
:fp: I would have hoped we, as a civilization, would have grown up a bit since the french and russian revolutions. Also, cheering the end of a world war is quite a fuck of a lot different than cheering the assassination of one individual.
Really? You think the human race has advanced past revenge in less than a century? Do you ever leave the house?
:hole: so...I guess you had no issues with the people around the world celebrating after the twin towers fell. You're media sure had issues with that. :ask:
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

My distaste for that celebration was one reason why I thought noisy, public celebrations of Bin Laden's death both in poor taste, and unwise.

Nothing wrong with some quiet satisfaction, though, even if tempered by some concerns about non-intended consequences...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!

I think it was embarrassing, in both cases. As a human. I wonder if the majority of those celebrating were religious? In both cases. I do agree that some quiet satisfaction is inevitable, but if a people claim to be "civilized" (whatever that entails) it's embarrassing.

On the other hand, I might suggest that your suspicion over the "whole story" including the photos might have to do with your personal views of Obama and his administration. :hehe:
Not really. It has to do with the fact that the story has changed several times. I'm glad the guy is dead. I just find it ludicrous how the story unfolded from last Sunday on, and how it keeps changing.
