Err, when you outed that shizzle had claimed the same character as you, you didn't highlight that hank was listed three times in the list of potential characters. Why would I have noticed that?

Yes, exactly. If I were town and Hank, and someone claimed my character, I think the first thing I'd do is look at the character list. But no, MZ says 'oh let's trust shizz (whiteknight alert) and probably GM screw up' and STILL votes shizzle.

Oh, and MZ's "irre is voting for herself because the don got voted in last game" is so beyond dumb that it defies him being town.
