Could that possibly mean that one of the cleared people was recruited afterward? If I were Harkkonen, that would be my first recruiting target. Someone who has established trust.irreligionist wrote:HmmDP wrote:Yes.Blip wrote:Is that an expostulation or an exhortation, DP?
Some use you were to us after the amount of spice we paid to recruit you. At least the others survived more than one day.AshtonBlack wrote:DING DONG DP IS DEAD!!! WHICH DP ???!! THAT DP!!! DING DONG DP IS DEAD!!!

Oblivion, my comment was more of a reflection on my strategy skills.oblivion wrote:Heh.Mantisdreamz wrote:Haha yes, I think what virphen said: wandering around in a dark room looking for a black cat that doesn't exist, is a good way of putting it.sifaka wrote:Ah, thank you Mantis!Mantisdreamz wrote:I'm only confused about the rules, because there are no rules!
Oblivion, maybe you should throw out a secret inspector role into the mix?
I know this is tongue-in-cheek, but I was a shot in the dark as a GM here. You guys had no idea what you might be letting yourselves in for.
I don't mess with my game designs after the role PMs go out. I don't like changing the rules on people after the game has started. If the games turn out to be unbalanced, I take my licks after we finish and I learn what I can so I can do better next time.
When this game ends, I'll be glad to talk about what I thought worked well this time and what, if anything, I would do differently next time. And I look forward to everyone's feedback. I'm used to getting flayed, so don't worry about hurting my feelings if you really think I screwed something up, wasted your time, etc.
I've had a blast playing so far, Thank you so much for organizing this.

Oh it's getting ugly in the game thread now, I see! They're all turning on each other, voting, unvoting, pointing the finger (especially Heyzeus - his avatar is just so accusative!)
This is great to watch!

Re: Dune 2.0 Peanut Gallery
Would it be hubris to call this a victory for the good guys? Because I'm feeling pretty confident about this.
Re: Dune 2.0 Peanut Gallery
I merely set the stage. You guys are writing the script.irreligionist wrote:(..and oblivion, if you think this is anything but all of us paying you back for screwing with our minds, you might be paranoid )
I will need to either start the next game day 2 hours early or about a half hour late, due to a meeting. If all the night actions are in early enough, I'll start the day before the meeting. Otherwise, I'll start it as soon as I'm back at my computer.
