Another mass shooting in my town. Some nut shot up my youngest daughter's favorite night club last night. It's lucky she wasn't there, as she usually is on Saturday night. They have drag shows and she does makeup for some of the performers.

She lost good friends, and is waiting to see if those who were wounded make it.

It's a hell of a thing for a 23 year old to go through, and too many of our young people have.

I'll pass on your offer Svarty. NIkki loves Paris and speaks French passibly. However, she is planning to move to South Carolina where her current beau is stationed. She is finding the rent here too high for her budget.

Interestly, the service for the victims was in a synagoge. As it was also Transgender Day of Remembrance, they read aloud the list of trans people murdered in the last year by name, date, and location as part of the ceremony. It took about 25 minutes.

KInd of puts things in perspective.
