Not trolling, asking a question...why this slippery choose your own gender slope is a thing beyond selling more dishwashers on amazon? or is that its real purpose?

We'd never accuse you of trolling, Crumple. Your posts just naturally are non-sequiturs.

Even if "selling more dishwashers on amazon" is meant as some sort of metaphor I cannot see its connection with "slippery choose your own gender slope", whatever that is supposed to mean.

Seconded.

What is transgender ideology?
Baroness Falkner insisted earlier this month that people must have the right to question transgender identity without being abused.
It's good that Falkner lady is on your side.

Now maybe you can get a perspective other than your own.
I didn't express a perspective. I asked a question. One relevant to the context of your post - one that made play of the Daily Mail's loaded terminology.

Is that similar to the 'single hand fapping' problem?

Here we go another round of gerrymandering.

UK electoral officials announce biggest shake-up of boundaries in decades
Labour leader among those affected by changes, which will increase the number of English constituencies at the expense of Scotland and Wales

Electoral officials have announced plans for the biggest shake-up of parliamentary constituencies in England in decades, one that critics immediately warned would break up many recognisable communities because of an overly strict set of rules.

Among those affected would be Keir Starmer. The initial plan for the Labour leader’s London seat of Holborn and St Pancras would see it significantly rejigged and renamed as Kentish Town and Bloomsbury.

Other recommendations by the Boundary Commission for England include the break-up of several longstanding, geographical-based seats, for example the Labour-held City of Chester, which has existed in various forms since the 16th century.

One of the paradoxes of the changes is that while one analysis calculated they could benefit the Conservatives by up to 10 seats according to 2019 voting patterns, the recent Tory advance into the north and Midlands means a number of their MPs could still lose out.
So bloody blatant. Chumocracy.

Edwin Poots resigns as DUP leader after 21 days

Edwin Poots has resigned as leader of the Democratic Unionist party (DUP) after colleagues rebelled over a deal to revive the Northern Ireland assembly, triggering a new political crisis in the region.

Poots quit on Thursday night after just 21 days in the job, the latest drama in a leadership meltdown in Northern Ireland’s biggest party that could sink the power-sharing assembly at Stormont.

The 55-year-old left an emergency meeting at the party’s Belfast headquarters without addressing waiting media and later released a statement saying he had asked the party chairman to start an electoral process for a new leader.

“The party has asked me to remain in post until my successor is elected,” said the statement. “This has been a difficult period for the party and the country and I have conveyed to the chairman my determination to do everything I can to ensure both Unionism and Northern Ireland is able to move forward to a stronger place.”

The humiliating fall throws into doubt a deal on Irish language legislation announced earlier on Thursday. The deal was designed to defuse a stalemate with Sinn Féin and allowed Poots’s protege, Paul Givan, 39, to become Northern Ireland’s youngest ever leader on Thursday...

The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?
