Once again Brian you skate away goal shifting the whole time. You have never addressed any point of mine. Just personal attacks because you HAVE lost the argument. I said vegans are insane. Who mentioned control only you have but once again misrepresentation as you always do. You claimed you were a vegan for five years or is that another misrepresentation.
Brian wrote:I was a vegan for about 5 years in the middle
What false assumptions have I made that does not come out of your misrepresentations? Vegans have not done anything coherently. People who cant even eat properly and follow a diet that is accepted as being totally bad as little cred. I never criticised vegetarianism. That is another one of your misrepresentations. I eat and prepare vegetarian meals regularly. You have never addressed the problem of growing all the beans and peas and the wasteland is causes. No you accept the vegan propaganda about veal cages (banned in Europe for more than 10 years) or other animal welfare concerns which hardly exist anymore but vegans cant see that. You can never replace animal protein with second grade vegetable protein.

If you want to save the world, veganism isn’t the answer

1. Find out what chemical reactions happen in cells
2. Copy large-scale in industrial reactors

Unless you claim there is a God that created a mechanism in living cells that we cannot copy with our technology, nothing is preventing us from doing that and in result getting a system that will be much more efficient than what biological cells do.
What has God to do with it?

:ask:
It's what I usually get to hear from people that I tell my lunatic ravings visionary plan about artificial agriculture. They say "We cannot do that.". I say "Yes, it's just chemical processes". They say "But plants and animals are living things". I say "Yeah, but living things are just machines performing chemical processes". They say "No, life was created by a higher being!!!".

Germans say "A higher being" when they mean God, because the idea of a personal God seems awkward among adults in a civilized society, but speaking of a "higher being" seems to be okay.

don"t get it, if anything, a personal deity makes more sense than a mindless "higher being"

Maybe they do, but since no one here is presenting that argument - it seems a bit irrelevant, no?

More to the point why do you think that industrial processes would be more desirable than biological systems?
