USA Today:
House Democrats have questioned the president’s past attacks on the whistleblower.

“I hope that you understand, and I suspect that you do, the seriousness of the president of the United States saying he wants to interview that person,” Pelosi said earlier Wednesday.

“The president probably doesn’t realize how dangerous his statements are when he says he wants to expose who the whistleblower is and those who may have given the whistleblower that information.”

Yeah, it's not like he's shown any indication before of being a vindictive shitwad who thinks he's entitled to use the power of the office for his personal advantage.

If Trump thinks this is truly a coup, perhaps he will use this as a justification for an armed counter-coup...

People will die because of this shit.

Trump's false and dangerous "coup" claim comes from Fox News and conservative talk radio

Yep. And he'll act like it had nothing to do with him when it happens.

The crazy thing about Fox viewers is they watch that shit 24/7. They don't tune in to get the news, they're plugged into that fucker like an addict.

That's why when I become dictator I'll offer them rehab. If they refuse they can sit in a cell to think about it. Only when Fox viewers hit rock bottom are they going to be capable of change.

There are huge rural areas with no proper internet. In addition, Fox broadcasts. No need to buy cable service.

That's no excuse. They are sick. Although jail should be the last resort, if they refuse to take responsibility for their actions, and to seek help in order to avoid doing even more irreparable harm we may be forced to incarcerate them for the greater good. :tea:

I thought it was cable and satellite only. There are Fox entertainment syndicated terrestrial broadcast stations, but this is the first I've heard of Fox News being carried by terrestrial broadcast.

I may be wrong. The Fox local news is popular, I assumed they were like NBC ABC etc that broadcast in most areas. OK, our broadcast is from two stations within 100 miles, both part of
Sinclair Broadcast Group
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinclair_Broadcast_Group

both run the same NFL Football, local news and no Hannity etc who are on FOX cable.

Sinclair is a wannabe Fox News. They impose conditions on the local stations that they own, and their local affiliates' news programming--those local stations must air Sinclair segments with a heavily conservative and pro-Trump spin during their local news shows, as well as Sinclair opinion segments that promote the same line.

Yeah I know. They have a huge part of them red counties covered. Probably growing in station numbers.

If I do it in front of cameras, there's no problem, right?

'Trump Publicly Asks ANOTHER Foreign Power for Election Help: China "Should Start an Investigation Into the Bidens"'
President Donald Trump publicly asked China to investigate Joe Biden and his family for him as he faces an impeachment inquiry for asking another foreign power for election help.

“China should start an investigation into the Bidens,” Trump told reporters Thursday while leaving the White House for Florida.

“Because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with Ukraine,” Trump continued. “So I would say that president Zelensky if it were me, I would recommend that they start an investigation into the Bidens. Because nobody has any doubt that they weren’t crooked. That was a crooked deal 100%. He had no knowledge of energy, didn’t know the first thing about it, all of a sudden he’s getting $50,000 a month plus a lot of other things.”

Trump then said he had not actually asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to investigate his political opponent

“I haven’t, but it’s certainly something we can start thinking about because I’m sure that president XI does not like being under that kind of scrutiny where billions of dollars is being taken out of his country,” Trump said.

Trump also faces an ongoing trade war he instigated with China, and officials from the country are set to visit the U.S. next week.

Lame attempt at manipulation intended to confuse those who haven't learned what he actually said on the phone call and how his handlers tried to hide it.

Watched about 5 minutes of Hannity. Tepeating for the umpteenth time "the Bidens are corrupt and took Ukraine and Chinese money."
That is the only news a good 60% of America gets.
