You are just speding healthcare dollars. You will pay for the unapproved care, say 200 000. It was supposed to give you a year more of life. But insread of living three more weeks on morphine, the miracle cure had risks, and you lived two weeks.
Morphine: a few hundref dollars
US care: 1 million, 200 000 billed to your estate.

Given the size of Seth, I suspect he might benefit greatly from this.. :tea:

So much winning! But it looks like I have over 10 years left if I live here. And what do you do at 85 anyway? The bowl of oatmeal is the highlight of the day.
I just would like to pass some of my $ to wife and kids.

“If we aren’t open, where do these people go?” asked a physician assistant, thinking about the dozens of patients he treated each month in the ER, including some in critical condition after drug overdoses, falls from horses, oil field disasters or car crashes.

“They’ll go to the cemetery,” another employee said. “If we’re not here, these people don’t have time. They’ll die along with this hospital.”

“We have no supplies,” Steele said. “We have nothing. How much longer can we provide quality care?”
Remember when they were talking about UHC during the 2008 electric and the GOP raised the specter of Death Panels. I do.

I know. People shouldn't have to created meth empires just to pay for treatment.

Doctors at medical association split about 50/50 on single payer.

The vote failed, but narrowly: 47 percent voted to eliminate opposition to single-payer as an official policy position of the AMA, while 53 percent voted to maintain it.

That's close, but no cigar. Nobody minds medical staff being paid well if they do their job well - but profiteering off the sick is pretty lower than snakes belly imo. Give it a few years for Trumpenomics to really bite and it might go the other way - and then the Koch brothers will be all over it!
