How do you mean? Are you suggesting they intend to bribe people to ‘keep this quiet’? There’ll be an investigation.

The first article is about overcharding - shock horror. The second is written by a guy with a grudge. What’s your point SD?

For a start I am not SD. That is another member.
If that is the way you read it well that's ok. There are plenty of reports of the collusion between Boeing and the American government. If you dont buy it who I am I to lead you. Enjoy your ignorance. Just a point why do you think Concorde was delayed as much from landing in New York. Environmental problems? No way Boeing were just jealous.
The same was what happened to the Comet. Money talks and Boeing offered massive discounts on its 707.

So, SD, a day after a crash killing 150 people you have decided that Boeing is corrupt and they intend to spend lots of dosh to ‘keep it quiet’...a bit late for the crash. There’s such a thing as cynicism and then there’s also realism.

Keep on insulting it suits you.
How many companies have grounded their planes? That will tell you. Of course being blind does not help now does it?
Which airlines use the Boeing 737 Max 8?

What’s your point - or are you just preparing the ground to shift the argument, as ever. You started this thread suggesting Beoing were going to spend a lot of money in some conspiratorial way to deal with this accident and the potential link to an earlier one. There is every possibility the plane has a design fault - Of course there is. Derrr.

Once again remain blind. "You can really bring a horse to water". Why has there not been a complete grounding of all Boeing 737's? 5000 ordered, bad for sales if they are.

How do you know it isn't a fault due to improper maintenance? How do we suddenly jump to the conclusion that there is a fault in the design of the 737?

Of course Boeing is corrupt. It's an American company. Only Dutch companies are pure. Apart from Boeing's Dutch subsidiary.

The speculation I've read is that it was a software fault in a program designed to combat incipient stalls. In one sense, that is positive, since, once identified, it can be quickly corrected on all planes with that software. In another sense, it's a frightening reminder of the possibility of bugs lurking in the vast amount of code that is entwined in the operating systems of all modern airliners...

Yeah, I hear it's something that does stuff without keeping the pilot in the loop, so problems that should be notified to and corrected by the pilot are not, or only too late.

It is Boeing's best seller so Boeing will be pulling out all the stops to avoid a bad name.

Boeing is such a trustworthy company(!). Who is kidding who?
