 HAHAHA, Monsanto/Bayer is gonna appeal... that kind of judgment in front of the 9th circus... seriously, this will depend on how the Supremes react to it, because appeals is gonna confirm first step... but the ultraliberal SCOTUS might just want to put a wrench in that machine...

Bayer must be rethinking the monsatan buyout that got them $30 Bn in debt, and that threatens to become a money pump in the wrong direction...

The controversial herbicide Roundup has been accused of causing cancer in humans and now scientists in Texas argue that the world's most popular weed killer could be partly responsible for killing off bee populations around the world.

A new study by scientists at the University of Texas at Austin posit that glyphosate — the active ingredient in the herbicide — destroys specialized gut bacteria in bees, leaving them more susceptible to infection and death from harmful bacteria.

Yep, bad news, and even more reason to take that bad shit out of the market... and we thought that it was only neonicotinoids that harmed the bees.

The chances of getting cancer from any source, including glyphosate depends on the dosage.

Never touched them. Never eat deep fried food. Even patat which I loved. BBQ's are horrendously cancerogenic. All that burnt meat. Never go near them.

The only exception is the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a rogue United Nations agency that has been taken over by environmental activists, which claimed that neat glyphosate was capable of causing cancer in animals if ingested. By the same criteria, IARC admits, coffee, tea and wine (which are indeed ingested) and working as a hairdresser are also carcinogenic; in fact, out of 1,000 substances and other risks tested, IARC has found only one to be non-carcinogenic. The IARC study also did the usual pseudo-science thing of citing some results but was reported by Reuters to have discounted contradictory results from the same studies.

Among beers, Tsingtao, China’s largest beermaker, had the highest levels at 49.7 parts per billion

It also has 48000000 parts per billion of hydroxyethane.
