The Handmaid's Tale. A documentary sent back from the future which details what will happen if we impeach Trump and let Pence take over.

WestWorld Season 2
Episode 4 saved the show. It's probably the best episode of the entire show so far. But they're doing everything they can to ruin it again in episode 5.

I thought episode 4 was superb. A really very interesting exploration of what makes us human and gives us a sense of self. I've rarely seen such subtle ideas handled better.Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 8:17 pmWestWorld Season 2

The first episode was awful. But a few of the others have been good.

I was introduced to this a few weeks ago as a 'must see'. I found season 1 unremittingly, relentlessly bleak - but in parts also laugh-out-loud funny, and then bleak again. Very, very bleak.Sean Hayden wrote:Black Mirror

Dear television. I've had enough of distopias. I want more utopias please.

It is really bad. But there are many good episodes in the series so far.

I think Curb Your Enthusiasm is the funniest show I've watched since Arrested Development. It's really good.

Dark Mirror Bandersnatch!
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Some say it's the best superhero movie in 2018. I think a good case can be made.
Others hotly tip it to win Best Animation at multiple awards. I honestly can't think of a better animation off hand.
Mostly I thought Into the Spider-Verse is like a Spider-Man movie made by Genndy Tartakovsky. Which is obviously a good thing.

Re: What Are You Watching Now?
That first episode was a terrible idea for the series. I never got to watch a second one, since my wife and I both tried it out by watching the first. She was not impressed by the pig-fucking-prime-minister, and it was really not a great episode as there is no way anyone would cave in to that demand. Anyone crazy enough to demand pig-fucking is not trustworthy to let the kidnap victim live anyway. It can't be that easy to make a Prime Minister fuck a pig on national television. Silly.Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Thu Dec 06, 2018 1:43 pmBlack Mirror
