I read that most people in the UK don't actually know where they live, or who else lives there with them. It's no different than here really.
I was given a year of free milkshakes once. The year passed and I hadn’t bothered to get even one.

I love how Coito runs to the defence of Trump with a total misrepresentation. Scotland weren't going wild (in the positive) about the vote. And they didn't take their country back. Scotland want IN to the EU. :fp:

There is one United Kingdom. The members of the UK did not vote independently -- they are simply part of the vote. And, Trump's comments on the topic reveal that he's referring the "people of the United Kingdom" taking their country back.

"The people of the United Kingdom have exercised the sacred right of all free peoples. They have declared their independence from the European Union, and have voted to reassert control over their own politics, borders and economy," Trump said in a formal statement released by his campaign Friday morning. "A Trump Administration pledges to strengthen our ties with a free and independent Britain, deepening our bonds in commerce, culture and mutual defense.": http://www.sacbee.com/news/politics-gov ... rylink=cpy

So, sure, he was in Scotland, and his tweet referred to Scotland, but nobody gives a fuck about the "states rights" folks in the UK, who demand that Scotland be deemed an independent nation and referred to as such. It's not. It's part of the UK, and it has no independent seat at the UN. It's not much different than Florida or Texas in the US, and when residents of those states claim to be "sovereign" and whatnot. They're still part of the United States, and if there was national referendum on something, like exit from the UN or something, and the country voted to leave, but Florida's voters leaned toward "remain," we would expect David Cameron to fawn over Florida's remain voters because he's giving a speech from Orlando. FFS.

And, it's just typical lefty crap to jump all over Trump for this, while never jumping on their guys for "blunders" -- like when Obama claimed that the US build the "intercontinental railroad," and he said the "middle east was obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries," and he said "When I meet with world leaders, what's striking -- whether it's in Europe or here in Asia..." - thinking Honolulu, Hawaii was in "Asia." So, Trump is "pig ignorant" for referring the celebrations over the UK Brexit while in Scotland, part of the UK, but Obama's a genius because he thinks Hawaii is in Asia.

Oh, my god! You ignorant fucks! Didn't you KNOW Gibralter voted to remain! Didn't you KNOW Foyle, Haringay, Lambreth, and Hackney voted to remain?!?!?!? How dare you be so IGNORANT as to not memorize each region of the United Kingdom and set forth specifically that as geographical regions within the UK they leaned toward "remain" if they were voting independently of the nation, which they weren't, but if they were, they'd be in the EU...but they weren't...so, you ignorant bastard! Shit, 60% of of Londoners voted to "remain," so, how dare you say that Britons were celebrating taking their country back?????

Actually, statistics were taken in the various elements of the UK, and it's true that Scotland massively voted for 'remain'... and they might move to retake their independance from the UK so as to remain in the EU now that Westminster has played them false, using the argument that a newly independent Scotland might not be a native member of the EU to sway the referendum of two years ago.

So this important and the ignorant cunflaps are you and trump.

Wales was never a kingdom? Don't they teach history in Yerup? Edward the 1 conquered it from its last King, Llewelyn. Of course it was a Kingdom.

It's the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain is the main island, England, Scotland and Wales. Ever since the last king of Wales died, they have had a "prince" designated as an honorary title, and hence the Prince of Wales, currently Prince Charles.

Wales is part of Great Britain, and before 1922 it was the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland." The UK let most of Ireland go, except Northern Ireland. That's why it's "separately mentioned."

Latest polls show only 52% of scots favor breaking with the UK at the moment. Probably not enough of a margin to cause the Scottish leaders to push for a new referendum. Just because Scots leaned "remain" in the UK does not translate into Scots ultimately voting for leaving the UK.

What have I said that's ignorant? The UK voted to Brexit. So, the United Kingdom of Great Britain (Wales, England, Scotland, etc.) and Northern Ireland, as a nation, voted to Brexit. The fact that some parts of the UK leaned remain means fuck-all.

But the results can be referenced by country. Scotland overwhelmingly voted to stay in the EU. Trump fucked up. You can't see that, because of the usual reasons.

I don't mind an insult, Ugarte; I object to a cut-rate one.
