Android up?
Just got an LG Optimus Elite. First thing I have to say is that I haven't seen it turn into a truck yet.

Cool. I got the LG Optimus 2X last year. It was the first smartphone with two cores. Obsolete now, of course. 12 months is an eternity for gadgets. And it's glitchy. Damned keyboard keeps shutting down while I'm texting. Probably happens 3~5 times a week. I have to restart the phone.

I am not knowing. We don't do that over here.

I noticed its not nearly as dickish as the HTC, which defaulted to the "chosen" word when you hit space even if you'd typed something else.FBM wrote:I am not knowing. We don't do that over here.

Re: Android up?
Again Samsung probably does this differently but there should be a button somewhere on or near the on-screen keyboard that allows you to access settings for input. Then if you turn off all of the Input Languages and turn off XT9 or T9 or whatever LG uses as predictive text, that should fix the auto complete issueGawdzilla Sama wrote:FireFox wants to be my browser. it depends, the native one on my Samsung Galaxy S is better than Firefox in that it's less fiddly on certain websites, and displays certain websites properly when Firefox won't, but LG may have their own 'brand' of the native browser, so I can't say from personal experience there. It should run off the same infrastructure though, so the native one may indeed be better!
