yes, you get all of my thinking. Good an bad.B.t has already told me it makes me look scummy.
Well, not that scummy. But fairly confusing. For me, at least.

But the idea UT mentioned above was not very plausible.
The most plausible idea is that you and Ani are scum. I'm exploring other avenues. And then there's @&$#% Mono.
Last night (my time), you said you think Ani is scum. Now, based on reasoning I really can't follow, you say this is his town game.

I don't even want to try and think about it. He's playing games.
I really have no idea about anything.

We have 8 players. Probably 2 are scum. maybe 1 indie, but more likely 6 town 2 scum.

And we have a no-show. This really sucks.

##vote Mono##

You need to make a substantive appearance, Mono. If you're town you're screwing us over.

lynch votes

mono - MZ, Feck, Oblivion
Oblivion - Ani

There are three votes on mono now. If that doesn't bring him out of the woodwork to talk, I'm gonna add my vote to that bw, because not posting at all sucks for town.

Also, I don't much like Ani's not bothering to explain his Oblivion vote, at least not so anyone else can understand it and agree or disagree. What's the point? Not to mention his 'you forgot the 'r'' post. Scummy contempt, here's a clue, or just fed up with town indecisiveness? You guys know his game and style better than I do, what do you think? MZ thinks it's his town game, anyone else?

Can we pay some attention to the idea that there is a SK rather than a vig? If there is, and considering balance, how many scum do we think are left? Two? maybe even one? Do we need to worry about an SK win condition wrt endgame? (i've played SK a couple times and chose to align with town because it didn't affect my win condition to do so, but that isn't always the case.)

Right now I think, in order of appearance:

Scummish:

Mono
Ani
ksen (more doubtful, though)

Townish:

BT!
Feck
UT
Ob
MZ

He was in danger of being lynched. He was in the lead for lynch until Feck tied it up. MZ put down the deciding vote.

I don't know if he was suspected by the majority. By my count seven players voted yesterday out of 10. The lynch could have gone either way.
that was referring to a post about irre's behavior towards ksen, and at the time irre went gunning for him, he looked pretty below the radar to me. That's what the comment was about, not how the vote ended up at day end.

Okay, i know this is going to garner me more insults from feck, but why exactly does he seem to be semi cleared by people? Irre evidently knew what he was implying yesterday, but yet he didn't end up dead. If he's made some subtle name claim that proves he's innocent, why did they kill dp last night instead. I can't think of any reason to trust him unless his claim points to a special, in which case scum would have whacked him. and once again if i'm being stupid so be it, I do miss a lot of subtlety since i'm not quite wired like everyone else and i'd like this cleared up. Feel free to use what ever insults you find necessary.

as for mono, i'm not buying he's scum, he's clearly useless, but safe votes always make me think scum are on the bw.

I don't think it's a safe vote, UT. It frankly worries me. If he's town, then one of 3 things is going to happen. He shows up and posts enough for us to get some semblance of a read and we make a somewhat informed decision whether to leave him in the game. He doesn't show up and we either mislynch him or we lynch scum.

Given the numbers tomorrow could be endgame if we mislynch. This is a big deal.

^^ assuming we stay on him if he doesn't show up.

and that is not a given. Do you think scum-feck would have voted to tie Irre with ksen yesterday?

I don't see how you can make the case that he isn't scum or that he is - what pushes you towards thinking he's town? he isn't posting at all. he could be deadwood town or he could be ninja scum. if he's like TR's Bart, then I'd make the case that he's vanilla town, because bart gets bored and doesn't post if he isn't scum or hasn't got a special role. is that your thought?

his lack of participation would get mono god-killed in other mafia games, because it screws up game dynamics. Right now we are possibly about to waste a lynch on what might be a town player, and possibly make unwise judgements about bw votes when we're dealing with frustrated town players. But can we afford not to lynch him? What if he's scum or an SK?

UT,

I've been looking for a post from Irre yesterday that would indicate...
Irre evidently knew what he was implying yesterday, but yet he didn't end up dead.
which post are you referring to?

I initially thought the slice kill was scum and that they'd spotted something in Athene's day 1 play that they thought was special-ish. but that may be based too much on my own opinions and experiences regarding millers. I couldn't see scum taking Charlou out on night 1. DP is a little harder to see as a scum kill, but I don't know that he makes sense as a vig kill either.

If Athene and DP were SK kills, then I am back to wondering why scum targeted the miller on night 1. Conventional wisdom is that a miller gets easier to lynch over time. But, maybe that wisdom isn't as well known as I think. And ratz town is not always conventional. We're a small group of players who play regularly together and that plays into how we read each other.

I asked earlier whose kill Irre was more likely to recommend, Charlou's or Athene's.
