There are not enough wolves to kill much cattle.

I bet feral dogs kill more cattle than real wolves... will there be dog hunts?

Coyotes are at fault for calves. You can shoot them freely in every state. Feral dogs are not very successful and die after a few years in the wild. Dogs depend on us.
