And so we find ourselves once again right back in the Crumple zone.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

On a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 represents a complete pessimist, and 10 an incurable optimist, Crumple scores minus one...

Crumple is increasing the odds that he'll be right eventually one day by starting doomsday threads one after the other, each a different interpretation of the apocalypse.

Storage batteries are getting more attention now. For homes, for example. Sodium is attractive there. It makes no diffrence what it weighs, it will not sink through the floor.

Social chaos and corruption as the world population collapses in a accelerating runaway will mean all these big solutions will become untenable - maybe Amazon will deliver these big batteries by C2 Greyhound then probably not as they'll be held up with all the cities aflame and airports. The Maya didn't collapse peacefully and neither will the global village. Whatever utopian get out clause your looking for when the juggernaut of civil drawdown is underway, will looking increasing silly compared to the bow and arrow of Earth Abounds fame

Spring clean. Back in time for the Tucker interview with a Vampire jig. Sure to bring a few opinions that are interesting but wrong out. I'm here to provide a worst case scenario point of view as always. Can't let optimism win. So last year now.

Runaway AGW is not possible given earths ocean/atmosphere structure.Social chaos and corruption as the world population collapses in a accelerating runaway will mean all these big solutions will become untenable
We are only now crossing the 1.5 C line since industrial and not yet broached the 2C of the Holocene optimum.
Social unrest has far more driving it than climate change tho that is a factor.
