Its a necessity here, as there's not much in the way of public transport. There's a bus system, but it's rudimentary. Getting to the other side of town can take a couple of hours and you have to change buses. It's pretty useless. I could get to the grocery store 3 miles away, but I'd walk about 3 or 4 blocks to a bus stop and the bus only runs once an hour. This is why Uber is such a big thing here.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I fully realise that lak. In certain situations one does have to look after one's self which is why a densely organised and civilised country does have advantages.
