Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice

Good plan for journal: Scientific Reports.

That way you know it’s scientifical!

But just by population, we started to have an effect by 1800. People had to walk or use horse and buggy or sail, so it was still ”mostly right.”

Greece and Egypt: let them burn dried camel dung.
It does not take many people to affect climate. The pre-invasion population of Australia can of course only be estimated. Estimations range from 315,000 to 1 million inhabitants, with 750,000 being currently considered the sustainable maximum. With an area of 7.692 million km² that works out to a maximum of just under one person for every 10 km². Despite the low number and density of the population, firestick farming transformed not only the fauna and flora of the entire continent, but also the climate.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

Many parts of the planet never had forest. The great plains here were affected by Indians burning everything to maintain bison grazing areas.

The boreal forests were around for a long time and rainforest loss is mostly in the last 300 years.

About half of yearly photosynthesis is in oceans and lakes. By fishing too much we may be adding more small end life.

This article, not that I "disbelieve" (or believe) it, is a bit thin, I think.

The idea here is that we have the current holocene epock (coinciding mostly with MIS1) for the past 11 to 12 thousand years, right? And, they rewind to MIS19, which began about 790,000 years ago, and they say "hey, MIS19 was about about 2 degrees cooler based on a few core samples at about 11 to 12 thousand years into MIS19. What could be the cause of this difference? The author surmises the difference is that the holocene epoch and MIS1 saw human agriculture arise.

Some points, I think bear noting. There is no reference to any other MIS period over the last few million years - there is MIS1 through MIS104, and they chose MIS19, because they say it's "similar." Well, how similar or different are other periods and why? Why wouldn't MIS 20 or 21 or 18 or 17 be better matches?

Also, it happens that MIS19 started at the same time as there was one of those magnetic pole reversals (Brunhes–Matuyama reversal), there was a very large meteor impact resulting in the Australian strewn in the early MIS19 -- it is reputed as a very large impact. So, could the Earth have cooled a tad as a result of a massive meteor impact and resulting volcanic activity?

Huh, so another idea is that the asteroid impact caused the pole reversal and resulted in a dramatic cooling period. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/a ... 1X9290192X - so, if that's accurate, then the Earth would have been much warmer without the impact and pole reversal -- perhaps as warm or warmer as it was at the same point in MIS1 and the Holocene?
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar
