More of the same will do nicely thanks.

Edit : But one of my earliest memories is of sitting in the playground in junior school, pushing lolly sticks into the melting tarmac.

We haven't had any of that yet this year. And that was sixty years ago.
I can hardly wait until the ice melt from Greenland forces the Gulf stream to stop.

You better be living a healthy lifestyle, if you want to see that.

It's not been pleasant round here. 50C and your whole year's rainfall dumped in two days is not pleasant.

I'm sure your childhood reminiscences are a great comfort to you in your dotage.

Seriously though, we were first promised climate change about thirty years ago.
Considering that climate is ALWAYS changing, this promised change is taking it's fucking time.

Can't we scrap these wind turbines and go for coal? On the basis that every little helps.

It's the rate of change that has smart people worried. Previously a change would occur over a period of thousands of years, now the same change is happening in a matter of decades. Still, only a few degrees, but that will render some large areas uninhabitable and too arid for agriculture. Canada will be fine. USA will have problems.
