And we'll be here until we aren't, and with physicists fucking around with high-energy physics that they do not understand, that could happen any time now. Let's suppose for example that they accidentally replicate the conditions at the instant of the Big Bang, and in doing so puncture a hole into an alternate universe (or dimension) filled with infinitely hot, infinitely dense matter just waiting to explode out of that pinprick and re-bang the entire universe.

That'll happen so fast nobody will even feel it. And all for the satisfaction of the curiosity of a bunch of nerds who don't actually have a practical application for anything they are doing.

Well, it wasn't me who proposed the possibility of creating black holes at CERN now was it? Nor is it me who needs to understand what goes on in and around black holes with absolute certainty before fucking about with them here on earth.
