13 billion lightyears and still no sign of god.

Except for the fact that light travelling 13 billion lightyears in a universe that is only 6000 years old proves that god must exist - it is impossible otherwise. And furthermore, he must be that old jewish guy with the beard, cos it is the bible that proves that the universe is only 6000 years old. Don't you all see?

Back on topic. It does make you wonder just how far they are going to be able to probe with telescopes. 13/13.7ths is getting pretty close to the really interesting stuff just after the cosmic fart.

I don't see any reason why we wouldn't eventually be able to see all the way back to when photons were first created. Whenever that was:
