Snake questions

Post by Deep Sea Isopod » Sat Jul 17, 2010 5:25 pm

Tomorrow, I am planning a (free) return trip to the West Midlands Safari Park, where Mark O'Shea is the reptile guy.
When we went a few months ago, another snake bloke who done a show asked if we had any questions about snakes. And he spoke of a few "myths" that he'd "debunked".
I was just wondering if there's anything I could ask tomorrow, that would make me look good, and have him stumped! :hehe:

So let's have them snake questions.

Do their tongues feel rough like cat tongues?

Fuck snakes! How do we kill them all?
It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

That's a question for St Patrick.

Best St. ever!!! Gets rid of snakes and has a heavy drinking day all of his own.

Why/how have boas (and some other snakes) evolved to produce live young, when most others lay eggs?

Are all snakes with a wedge shaped head poisonous venomous, while smooth shaped heads are not?

I like the one that was on QI. Name the world's only two poisonous snakes.
One is the Japanese Grass Snake. I can't remember the other, although it might be the American Garter.
All the ones you think of as poisonous are actually VENOMOUS. Poisonous means you die if you eat it. The grass snakes become poisonous by eating toads.
But the smartass might be aware of that.
.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

1. Take kids to snake show

2. feed kids to snakes

3. watch snake show in peace.

1. I took them last time. ;)

2. They are now too big. It's a myth that an Anaconda or a Giant Python can eat Adult humans, or large kids.

3. What about the rides? :begging:
