The U.S. Air Force f-15 Strike Eagle pictured below was patrolling the area where the Space Shuttle Atlantis took off from as it roared into space on its final flight on May 14, 2010.

It's a shame the nose of that plane got in the way though. Just like me getting one of my fingers in the photo.

You've only seen part of the pic. Either zoom right out in explorer, or download the picture and view it with a viewer.
