Water Fluoridation

Post by Deep Sea Isopod » Wed May 26, 2010 4:48 pm

OK, is there any harm?

If it does suppress the immune system, could that explain why nut/ milk/pollen alergies and athsma are more common these days?

lol.
You're more likely to die by drowning than you are from fluoride poisoning in tap water.

But is there any evidence it has some adverse effect on teeth or any other part of the body?

Given my dentist uses fluoride, I doubt it.

As for 'adverse effects' - in large enough quantities, sure... the same as chlorine, but you'll happily swim in a pool with it.

Or iodine ..... they added Iodine to salt when people used to live on locally produced food only and some areas don't have iodine .

We are all exposed to many more potential allergens than we were a hundred years ago ,and allergies are studied and looked for nowadays .

I can only find that the reason for the fluoride in water is to prevent tooth decay. So what would be the effects of not having it in water? Does it serve any other purpose?

It's there to kill bacteria/purify contamination

Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

To wind up conspiracy theorists
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

The argument for banning water fluoridation is essentially a civil liberties issue, not a health one.

We should get to decide what we put in our own bodies.

It is not a civil liberties issue at all. If you don't want to drink water with fluoride then buy your damned bottled water.

I would think we've become immune to a lot of this shit since we have been ingesting it from birth. Either immune or dead. :shifty: :shifty: :shifty:
