It really is the most dumb thing I've ever seen. Either that or it is so super intelligent that it is way over my head.

No. It's dumb.

No. He's saying it didn't create the grand canyon. Noah's flood did :hilarious:

Yes but he's 'refuting' the 'other side', thereby implying we believe evolution created the Grand Canyon. However, that phrase does not even compute in my mind because I've received insufficient edjukayshun

The Colorado River is drying up due to all the dams and there is in fact a delta - it's just not well fed.
It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

Isn't the land at the mouth of the river also travelling north due to continental drift meaning that all the deposits are spread northward? (or am I talking bollox?)

I'm also tired... can't express myself well at all. Just spent a week cramming an essay together :banghead:

Taking a couple days "off" (ie focusing on my research job), and then THE CRAM (for finals) begins  :worried: :banghead:

But look at his...uh...'logic':
1. Rivers create deltas, not canyons.
2. Colorado river does not have a delta

Therefore the Colorado River is not a river?

The rock the Canyon is made of is exactly the same hardness as yard dirt. Or am I wrong?

He failed his geology class, I believe. Rivers form deltas when the solid material slows down precipitately when the current is slowed by the relatively still waters of the ocean. However, the delta doesn't have to be visible from (or even near) the surface, as the Hudson River proves.
