Lignin can be also converted to vanilla. Or "chemical" vanilla.

The Oort cloud is, like, really really really far away - relatively speaking.

If by "they" you mean the alien mothership, then yes.

How do cells move (immune cells, blood cells just move by blood flow)
Immune cells move throughout the body via the circulatory and lymphatic systems to patrol for pathogens and injured tissues. When a threat is detected, immune cells are recruited to the site through a process called chemotaxis, where they follow chemical gradients released by damaged cells or pathogens. This movement involves a combination of interactions with the vascular endothelium and the extracellular matrix, allowing them to squeeze through gaps between cells and migrate into tissues.
Elaboration:
Circulatory and Lymphatic Systems:
Immune cells, like white blood cells, circulate in the bloodstream and lymphatic vessels, constantly patrolling for signs of infection or injury.
Chemotaxis:
When an immune cell encounters a signal from a pathogen or injured tissue, it releases chemicals that attract other immune cells to the site. These chemical signals create a gradient, guiding the movement of immune cells towards the source.
Integrins and Adhesion Molecules:
Immune cells have receptors on their surface, like integrins, that help them interact with their surroundings, including the blood vessel walls and the extracellular matrix. These interactions allow them to roll along the blood vessel walls, adhere to them, and eventually squeeze through gaps to enter tissues.
Amoeboid Movement:
Once in tissues, immune cells can move using an amoeboid type of motility, changing their shape and extending pseudopods (finger-like extensions) to move forward. They can also pull themselves along by exerting forces on their surroundings, according to FAU researchers.
Role of the Cytoskeleton:
The cytoskeleton, the cell's internal framework, plays a crucial role in cell movement, providing the structure and machinery for shape changes and motility.
Lymphatic Migration:
The lymphatic system also plays a crucial role in immune cell migration, allowing cells to move from the periphery to lymph nodes, where they can interact with other immune cells and initiate an immune response.

Not only can. In the distant past, a paper company I worked for was producing vanilla from black liquor (gunk residue from the pulping process)
It is also responsible for the vanilla notes in whisky and some fortified wines - it comes from the oak barrels.
