CES, you are free to start a thread about the woes of Airbus, you know, another multinational with a global supply chain.

Mary Whitehouse was a vocal campaigner against smut, swearing and violence on the TV, here in Blighty. She would obsessively scan he media here, looking for things that offended her, and then fire off furious broadsides to the newspapers. Eventually she went a bit mad and started to see smut, swearing and violence where they didn't really exist...

I misread that as "Amy Winehouse" :hehe:

Yes, of course. I know what I am free to do. However, if I were going to be in any way fair, I would not focus my attentions on criticizing one country to the exclusion of all others.

Cali is a dab hands with the old spreadsheet. KLR too. Maybe we could have per capita national criticism, based on percentage of members being citizens of each country :hehe:

There is no greater crybaby than a Yerpeein reacting to criticism. Look at any thread concerning the such criticisms -- defensiveness and a general refrain of "yeah but Merka is worse." Check out the threads on Yerpeein military adventures in Libya, Mali etc. Do you see similar snark and snotty mockery that is meted out when Merka is the subject? I think you'll find that the bulk of Yerpeeins look to find ways to justify anything Yerpeein governments or companies do.

Boeing is a multinational based in the US...is perhaps what Clinton is trying say? Maybe in the past it was US owned but that kind of world is now history ??

LOL - wouldn't have to get that far. Would just have to have some fair bit of Yerpeeins recognize some sort of deficiency on their own parts. The normal course is that Yerpeeins set themselves up as the standard -- they are the "every other industrialized nation" which Merka and the rest need to work to catch up with....

Paper bags? Bad for the environment. A proper Yerpeein wouldn't offer one. Please provide me with a reusable burlap sack to breathe into. :{D
