The hummer is free because it's owned by a Montana LLC and Montana issues a one time permanent registration for vehicles more than 11 years old, and liability only is cheap. The truck is about $360 a year and again liability only. The Benz is pricey but both registration and ownership taxes are deductible because it's a business vehicle. Insurance is not too bad because it's a 2010 and I have a $1000 deductible. Total is about $1200/YR.rEvolutionist wrote:Except that you are broke. And you've got to pay rego and insurance on them. I can't imagine rego and insurance being cheap on those big vehicles.Seth wrote: I keep all three, plus a couple of motorcycles because all of them except the Mercedes are paid for and there's no reason not to
Piscator was right about RPMs on the ford. At 80 indicated (76 actual) RPMs are 2900, but at 65, it's 2200. An overdrive would be useful if I were driving it frequently or long distance.
