What a dumb post. The Milankovitch cycles have NOT been proved to direct the climate. There are serious problems with the correlation. Which you would discover, if you bothered to read, instead of tamely accepting what you're fed.

My post was of the Vostok ice-cores, which clearly PROVE the natural cycles that you were laughing at.
Historically through evidence, not modelled or theorised.

If you can't detect a natural cycle, from the Vostok ice-core graphs, even after I put FUCKING GREAT BIG RED ARROWS there to help you, then there really is no hope for you. The IPCC use these graphs, as well as wikipedia.

Well, OK, this is all fine, but what about the polar bears? I hear they're turning brown. I think it is incumbent on all those living in polar bear country to keep a set of keys with them at all times, to jangle at the brown bears. Problem solved.

Ah HAH! The "polar bears" are adapting to climate change. Imagine that. Oh, wait, the reason they exist in the first place is because of climate change. They didn't evolve out of nothing on the ice cap, they evolved from land bears which evolved during interglacial periods into a specialized niche. Specialized niches in the environment are not generally conducive to species survival because such environments may change. Omni-environmental adaptation (such as mankind's ability to have permanent habitation at the North and South poles, and the Equator, and everywhere in between, and soon enough on the Moon and Mars) seems to be winning the evolutionary race.

But the polar bears are doing rather quickly that which many humans seem incapable of doing: they are adapting. Some of them are dying, but that's just how it is.

Turns out the polar bear population is higher than it's been since records have been kept...there's estimated to be more than 25,000 of them...and in places like Longyearbyen, on the Svalbard penninsula, you don't go trapising about outside of town without a large-bore rifle with which to kill polar bears when they attack, as they often do.

Of course, apart from over-claiming on the ice loss in the Arctic, the alarmists also constantly ignore the LACK of melting in the Antarctic. This could mean that the Arctic ice loss could me more the result of local factors, than global warming.

The Arctic is likely to be more influenced by ocean currents, than the Antarctic, because it doesn't have a huge great continent at it's centre.
