Got a BSc (Hons) degree at Melbourne University, majoring in zoology. Spent a couple of years on research towards a PhD which went nowhere, gave up, did a Diploma of Education, and have been teaching science and maths in secondary school ever since...Dory wrote:Neat. I wasn't dedicated enough...
My supervisor didn't help much...
The data was scanty, and the frogs were hard to find...

I have no regrets, I moved on. My son, currently working as a field agent for the EPA, is keen to do his PhD on estuarine ecology sometime in the next year or 2. I hope he does; he can then have bragging rights over his old man!
