After a while, it will get so frequent that all you can do is bin the thing - unless you fancy taking the micro-switches inside apart, cleaning them and bending the contacts back into shape - thought not!
The trouble is that Logitech mice are pretty good in all other respects - they just seem to have crappy switches in them.

Say's Dell on it. Probably made by someone else and branded with Dell.
And I've been beating it to death today - and my mouse.
It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

Have you tried switching it off and back on again? Boot it from the 3.5" floppy.
Did a reboot this morning. Contrary to popular opinion I do not have a "floppy" and it's not 3.5"
OK, it's just wire thin and sized for a USB port, right?

Dell uses Logitech mice, has been that way for many years. Their latest laser mice are just crap, I just order infra-red ones from Logitech instead.

Certainly not, I have far too big a mouth for a USB sized thingy, plus, I lick and don't suck.
