I altered Earth's rotation!

With a 1726.96 mile-wide lump of Iridium, hitting at a 30 degree angle at 42.23 miles per second!
The Earth is strongly disturbed by the impact, but loses little mass.
100.00 percent of the Earth is melted
The impact makes a noticeable change in the Earth's rotation period and tilt of its axis.
The impact does not shift the Earth's orbit noticeably.

Now what does it take to change the orbit.

Is it just me, or does anyone else like the idea of being 1.6 miles away when an impact like this occurs? 8-)
