Fun with polynomials!

Economics is about far more complex mathematics than merely polynomials. How do you think supermarkets decide their pricing structures, stock-levels, staffing levels, etc? How are oil prices set? What about interest rates? Adding and subtracting?

Like I said, you don't understand any of this stuff. But, as with any ignoramus, your opinion is just as valid as anyone else's because FREEDUM, DAMMIT!

Of course, that's all true. But in reality, you don't need to know advanced maths to run your business.
You buy it in, with the software.
It's the software writers who need to be immersed in the maths.
Poor sods.
But it keeps them occupied and probably helps their carers and saves on sedation.

Some dick tried to tell me that 3 is fifty percent bigger than 2, but 2 is only 33.333 percent smaller than 3.
