What always amazes me as well, is the way that animals with tiny brains know EXACTLY what to do when it comes to sex, without any reading, or conversation, or watching others at it.

They just jump on and do it without having to learn anything.

Whereas humans with our huge brains need all sorts of education, and even then, it's a lot of hit-and-miss till we've been at it a while.

I hate to think how long it would take a virgin boy and girl to work out what to do, if they had had no previous knowledge of the subject.

A virgin Stallion, on the other hand, knows what it's for and where to put it. All he needs is a sniff of a mare in season. And May Flies go straight at it as soon as they hatch.
How come we lost that instinctive knowledge?
