I doubt it, as we are a self-aware conscious being. Ants aren't. There would be no doubt that they would study us, but I imagine it would be highly ethical. Either way, Scumple's statement was fallacious.

Regarding Pappa's comment about "utopian fiction" being boring, well that may be so, but it's not a choice between simply dystopian or utopian.
