Dolphin watching in Gloucester

Post by mistermack » Mon Aug 04, 2014 4:56 pm

I've been watching a dolphin fishing in the river Severn recently. Never knew that they frequented these parts. I walked to take these pics, it's just 2.5 miles from where I live.
It was frustrating, I couldn't find my camera bag, so I used the poxy little video camera that I have stuck to my car windscreen, so the pictures are rubbish.

Now that I've found my camera, I haven't seen the dolphin, but I saw a dead one, washed upstream by the Severn Bore. I don't think it's the same one, it looks like it's been dead for weeks, swollen up like a balloon. Don't look if you're squeamish

If I get some better pictures, I'll stick em up.

Here's some video footage of the live one :

I don't think they know about the dead one that I filmed.
